Happy Memorial Day.

1 Year ago today, on our 1 year anniversary we found out we were pregnant with Preston.
Here we are a year later with such a sweet little boy we couldn't imagine life without.

Tomorrow's our 2yr anniversary, so today we WENT TO THE ZOO!!!
It was great. And yes, it was warm.
I'll post more pictures on the other blog soon.

We have this tradition in our family where after a wedding reception we usually go to Carls Jr.'s.
Tonight was Preston's first wedding reception/Carls Jr outing.
Many more to come I'm sure.

We went on a walk for the first time in a week. He was pretty happy about it!
By the way, do you like his new sunglasses?! They velcro in the back, so they are much more comfortable. He tolerates them very very well.
We call them his Lady Gaga glasses :D

Laundry Day!

In honor of the series finale of Lost he had his dinner served in a coconut!

Tummy time usually means a lot of drool and funny faces.

Its hard to imagine there was ever a time when this kid didn't like to have his clothes off..... My how the times have changed!

Tonight we went to Jen & Seth's piano recital.
They played Star Wars and a song from Sense and Sensibility, so both Preston and I were pleased with the song selections.

We had food today for the first time!!!

Today's Patrick's birthday!!!!!!

Also, Preston went to the doctor today for his 4mo checkup. Had to get 2 shots and 1 oral vaccination. He did good, didn't cry till the 2nd shot was over. He's so brave! The doctor said he's a great baby, very textbook as far as his development goes. He mentioned the next 2 months are very critical to the development of Preston's skull, so we're suppose to keep working on making sure he lays on both sides of his head (he favors laying facing the left). So we'll keep doing that. Also said we can start him on some solids! Rice cereal to begin with, then move on to fruits/veggies. This'll be great since he eats a ton now! (6-8oz every 4hrs). Here are his stats:

Height- 25 1/4 inches (65th percentile)
Weight- 14 lb 10oz (50th percentile)
Head Circumference- 44cm (90th percentile)

Basically he's a long and lean kid with a huge noggin. But we love him!!!!

Went to Nana's today for Patrick's birthday dinner.

Carly & Blaine got married today!!

We love when Krissa comes to play!

Preston's 4 months old today!!

He has his 4mo. check up Monday, so after that I'll put up his official 4mo stats. Till then enjoy the smiliest baby I've ever seen.

Wanna know a secret to get Preston to fall asleep quickly?
Cover half his face with a blanket. Kid's out in like 30 seconds.

Got a Summer hat!
Too bad someone's head is gargantuan and we have to go exchange it tomorrow for a 6-9mo old one. . .

Also you should know on days where there is more then 1 picture it's because I can't decide which picture is the cutest.

Did you know we got some new toys in the mail last week?

The monkeys are especially good at keeping him quiet during church.

And did you also know he's "totally handsome"? It's true. It say's so on his onesie. And onesies don't lie!

Today we went to the groundbreaking ceremony for our new church building down the street from us.
