Did you know Preston has a birthmark behind his left ankle?!
I didn't know it until today.
I did however know that he was this flexible!

Lately Preston has been climbing up on chairs & wanting to sit at the table.
So today we got him a booster seat so that he can sit at the table like a big boy!

Then later he decided we should have pork for dinner. . .

The whole time he's been mobile Preston has left the piano alone.
Jimmy's been home for a few days now, and thanks to his piano playing Preston will not leave the piano alone.

Today we went to the circus!!!
It was TONS of fun. So much for Preston to look at and ooh and ahh over.
He did good the first half, the 2nd half (it was a 2 1/4hr show) was a little rougher - it was right at nap time. But I'm glad we took him. We've been talking about elephants and tigers all week to prepare, so he enjoyed seeing them, and roaring with the tigers!

I know that every mom thinks their child is brilliant, but seriously my child is brilliant.

Sometimes when you get hurt you don't want a kiss to make you feel better, sometimes you just need an ice cream sandwich.

In just a few weeks Preston will be old enough to go to Nursery at our church. The past few weeks we're been taking him in there for some practice so that when the big day comes he'll know what to expect.
Today he went with his Daddy & got to make this pretty cool tie!
He's just getting so big!!

After a day of doing some hard work we went swimming this afternoon.
Preston is a water baby.

He worked up quite an appetite swimming and ate a hotdog, macaroni salad, chips, and about 5 big strawberries. He's definitely going to sleep well tonight!

Tonight Preston had his first haircut.

It was long overdue, but I was afraid to do it myself so we waited till his stylist came to town.

He did REALLY good!! Well until we had to use the clippers and that sort of scared him.

Sorry we didn't get a great after picture, he was just done with the whole thing & it was past his bedtime.

He definitely looks older now that its shorter and can be styled, but he's still oh so handsome!

Preston got to hang out with his cousins today and got to go to the school and have a lunch just like the big kids!
He pretty much didn't want to let his chocolate milk go.

Preston's very much into watching video's of himself, so we try to make little video's everyday that he can watch.
Today he decided to dance and then make funny faces.
I don't know where he comes up with this stuff, the kids hilarious!

Preston must have been happy with how the cake turned out because all I heard while he was eating it was "good" "bite" "please" over and over again.

One of Preston's favorite chores to help with is cleaning out the turtles cage.
He'll sit on the counter & just say "turtle" over and over and over again while pointing to her.
And then comes his favorite part where we feed her some worms.
He's such a boy.

Oh ya and happy 17 months!!!!

To celebrate our anniversary Patrick and I went to go see Les Miserable this afternoon (so so so good!!!).
Preston got to go hang out at Noah's place.
I hear he was very good.
And that he tried repeatedly to feed Noah.

You didn't miss much.
Except Preston's all grown up now!

Sometimes even alligators have bad days.

Ketchup is delicious.

After swimming for a few hours this morning Preston was completely worn out.
We had to wake him up from his nap after 3 1/2 hrs!

Sometimes just for fun we go to Petsmart just to look at all the animals.

Today he got a HUGE kick out of the guinea pigs!

Preston has jokes.
He thinks the "are you scared of a fly" joke is hilarious.
Even watching this video after recording it he laughs at himself.
What a jokester.

Getting a icee makes a trip to Target so much more enjoyable!
