Prestons Ticker

Lilypie Second Birthday tickers

Today we had the chance to go with a friend of ours from church to the Phoenix Children's Museum.
We'd never been before, but i've seen pictures from people who have gone and so we were super excited at the chance to check it out!
Today was the last day to use the free admission coupon that a lot of preschool teachers gave out, so needless to say it was PACKED. But that didn't stop us from having fun!

They had a kitchen area just Preston's size with lots of felt "food" where he could make a pizza or cook us up something good. You know how much Preston loves pots and pans, so he was in heaven!

Of course he had to taste it. . . He proclaimed it was good. I have my doubts though.

They had a grocery shopping area where he could push around a shopping cart and load food in and out of his basket. We never made it to the checkout area though because he just kept filling up his cart and then taking everything out. He probably did it about 6 times before I pulled him away to go explore another area.

There was a "fort" room where you could build your own fort or just hang out and hide. I was surprised at how much he liked it. Looks like we'll be making lots of forts out of couch cushions at home now!

There was a place with tricycles that you could ride and take through a "car wash".
Preston wasn't too interested in getting on his own bike, but his friend Jaycee gave him a ride on her's and he had a good time.

And the last room we went in was just for kids 4 and under and there was all sorts of things he could climb up on, or balls to roll/throw, a house to play in and a mailbox that he spent a lot of time putting legos in and then taking legos out of.

Needless to say it was AWESOME. So so perfect for little kids, and it has things that appeal to all their senses.
We're already looking forward to the next time we can go and take Patrick with us. We didn't get to see half of the fun stuff they had, but we LOVED what we did see!

Aww, what n amazing place! I've heard a lot of great things about it but i haven't been. Maybe Preston will grow up to be a 5 Star Chef. Couldn't hurt anybody. Maybe you should get him started on Chef Ramsay shows and whatnot....just an idea!! ;)
