Preston 365

TODAY WE WENT TO THE RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL!!!

HUZZAH!!!!!

There were a ton of bee's flying around when we were taking these pictures. One got stuck in my hair and when I flung it out it landed on Preston. Thank goodness Krissa noticed & got it off! After that a lady came over and warned us to walk on the other side b/c they were having a bee problem, and had had a bee keeper come out. Good thing we got that little glitch out of the way early and then could move on to the fun!!!

And the food!!!
Preston ate things that he won't even touch at home. He was crazy about the turkey leg. He also had some corn, some sort of fruit pastry, broccoli cheese soup w/ bread, sugar roasted almonds & lemonade.

He got to sit and pet a goose, which he was a little unsure about. He kept trying to stick his fingers in it's mouth (like he does with everything and everyone), and after awhile wanted to stare at the man and not the goose.

He sat on his Daddy's shoulders for awhile and people would call out greetings to "the ginger haired" baby.

His favorite part was the petting zoo where he got to see lots of baby ducks & chicks, which he LOVED.

And the pigs were extra fun b/c we've been working on animal noises, and he likes to make the piggy noise, and piggy nose the best.

At the end of the day we got to the joust and we ran into people we knew! Preston's cousins!! They were all very excited to see him, and even though he was extremely tired he still managed to give out some smiles.

It was a pretty great day.
